The French Football Academy welcomed the FFF managers in New York

As part of the official academy of the World Champions Federation, the French Football Academy was delighted to welcome the FFF executives in New York.

The French Football Federation (FFF) is the governing body of soccer in France and oversees the prestigious men’s National Team, World Champions in 1998 and 2018, as well as the famous Centre Technique National Fernand Sastre, more commonly known as Clairefontaine.

This center for excellence is arguably the finest football academy in the world, having coached such gifted players as Nicolas Anelka, Thierry Henry, Kylian Mbappé and Eugénie Le Sommer just to name a few.

The FFF Academy’s technical program in France sent executives to New York to visit the French Football Academy and share the global strategy and development program within the coaching staff and New York Academy directors.

It was a pleasure to supervise the visit of Ludovic Ledru from the DTN (Direction technique Nationale) and Franck Thivilier, Technical Vice-Director at the FFF !

They attended Academy teams practices and games; and supervised meeting sessions with the coaching staff !

Ludovic Ledru : " It was an interesting supervising mission campaign with the French Football Academy in New York. We came here to talk about the Academy long-term vision and how we can improve our soccer programs to reach more young players within the city !"

Franck Thivilier : "I am excited to discover the French Football Academy and see from my own eyes the amazing work done by the director and the coaching staff.  It is important to meet the coaches, get their feedbacks and implement new and innovative coaching methodologies ! Being in New York is very important for the FFF, committed to sharing our high-standard World class model and sporting and educational values."
