Meet Anna, Rehab & Performance Coach at french football academy !

Tell us about yourself

I am originally from Hungary and moved to New York in 2025. Before relocating, I worked with the Kelen–BVB Academy of Borussia Dortmund in Budapest, supporting youth and adult players in injury management and performance training.

What type of coaching degree do you have and where did you get it?

I am not a soccer coach by tradition — I am a Rehab & Performance Coach, specializing in sports rehabilitation, injury prevention, and athletic performance development.

I hold a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy from Semmelweis University and an M.Sc. in Human Performance from the Hungarian University of Sports Science, as well as a Professional Diploma in Injury Management for Team Sports from the Barça Innovation Hub.

Tell us about your soccer player experience

I have never played competitively, but working closely with soccer players made me deeply appreciate the sport. I enjoy working with soccer-specific injuries, designing return-to-play progressions, and supporting players from injury through full performance.

When did you join the FFF?

I joined the FFF team in December 2025.

What is your coaching philosophy?

My philosophy centers on a collaborative, evidence-based approach that prioritizes player safety and adapts training to each athlete’s individual needs, helping athletes progress confidently and perform their best.

What is your favorite team and best player?

I don't have a specific favourite team, but if I had to choose, I'd pick a Hungarian club. No matter where I am, my heart will always be with my home teams.
