What is Football for the Goals

Football for the Goals is a United Nations initiative that provides a platform for the global football community to engage with and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Football for the Goals encourages the global football community (confederations, federations, clubs, players, fans, and others participating in the football ecosystem) to use its own visibility and outreach power via its tournaments, its players, corporate brand exposure, media rights holders and fan communities to raise the profile of the Sustainable Development Goals  advocacy

The French Football Academy as a new member

The French Football Academy recently joined this program and commit to the following principles across our business practices and in our advocacy with stakeholders :

• Sustainability policies and practices
• Implementing and advocating for the SDGs
• A human rights-based approach, including in addressing issues of discrimination and avoiding discriminatory practices
• Equality and equity, including gender
• Climate action

What the French Football Academy will do

As we deeply believe in the powerful voice football carries within the community, the Academy will contribute as much as it can to raise awareness of the SDGs and to act on it through local actions and/or sustainable practices highlights !

Directly related to our daily activities, the Academy will mainly focus on the "No poverty", "Good health and well being" and "quality education" goals -
